Hello Old Dice. It's Me, Old Jimsy 11/01/05 Alright, I'm going to start out with something easy to review, in order to get into this new groove. Fantivision is a puzzle game that came out right around, if not at the release of the PS2. It's a pretty basic puzzle game involving blowing up fireworks fast enough to keep your fuel up, otherwise you will run out of fuel and consequently get a game over. The fireworks are really well done and it's really fun to see a lot of them go off at once. After a few levels you'll get a LIVE ACTION cut scene circa middle of the 20th century. They get really bizarre. The music is pretty good, which helps to keep it interesting. The backgrounds are also incredibly beautiful. You'll start up in a city and wind up in a multitude of interesting places. It is a very short game though, which is probably it's biggest detraction. Basically, if you like puzzle games it's cheap enough (from it's age) to be worth buying. If you don't really like puzzle games though, you probably shouldn't buy it. There's my opinion, do with it what you want. ---Old Jimsy--- Hello Old Dice. It's Me, Old Jimsy 10/31/05 Here we go again. An update has finally appeared on the site again for the first time in a long time, as I'm sure you in your fabulous intelligence have noticed. I'm not going to apologize to any of you, so it would be foolish to expect one. I've had the ability to update all this time and I haven't, and on purpose at that. I've realized that I've got better things to do with my life and going on that, you must too. So, I'm am going to start writing more reviews and less rants since my frustrated opinions are not ones that need to be shared with the world. One thing I'm going to try to offer is an improvement in the level of usefulness of our site. I hope to offer more, but not exclusively short reviews. I will do my best to summarize games as fast as I can in order for you to get one more opinion (probably one more you didn't need) of some games (the ones I have access to) that you were considering giving yourself access to. As I previously stated though, I will not exclusively give out an abbreviated version of my least bias opinion. There will still be rants and the occasional long review. I'll do my best to update often and I personally feel that is all that can be hoped for. Thank you for checking this site and while I'm not sorry if you feel you wasted your time (that's you own personal opinion), I most certainly hope you don't. ---Old Jimsy---- |

Archives 10/31/05 I archived the updates again. Just in case anyone doesn't know, they are in the Rants and Reviews Section, but I'm sure you already knew that. Color  How the heck did we find ourselves in Autumn. Oh well, might as well enjoy it before the cabin fever sets in. Nothing like a Upstate winter. Oh, and the colors are different, as you probably noticed. Archives Please read this! I put all the rants from the past couple months in a new archive, in the rants and reviews section. Do not be fooled! We actually do update occasionally and in fact plan to update more often from now on. Famous last words... Colors Now it's Green and blue. In case you weren't informed green and blue means summer...or something. Archives I moved all the old "Today's Rants" to an archive page which can be found on the Rants & Reviews page. We hope to do this every month to month and a half depending on how many rants we write. DW 05 Old Jimsy finally here again. I added on a rant/review to the Rants and Reviews section. It's under review cause it fits better there...kind of. I'm going to try to update more in the future, but I make no promises. Rant Old Jimsy here.
